Helping Our Neighbors in Need

Magnolia River employees epitomize our core values by making a real difference where we live, work, and play. Striving to live out the Magnolia River Way, we have yet again made a contribution to Tennessee Valley Outreach, a shelter minutes away from our home office in Decatur, Alabama. This money was raised through voluntary donations for office snacks, selling Yankee candles online, and sponsoring a rubber ducky hole at our GasMaster Symposium golf tournament. We also received donations from Sunday school classes and individual employees.
Magnolia River chose to continue to support Tennessee Valley Outreach due to their steadfast commitment to families in need throughout the Decatur, Alabama region. Not only does Tennessee Valley Outreach care for the homeless, but they are the only shelter in North Alabama that takes in women and their children in crisis situations. Tennessee Valley Outreach’s mission is to “offer assistance to those who are homeless, hungry, hurting, and hopeless by coming to their aid and providing for each person’s unique individual needs.”
We are very proud of our wonderful employees and friends who assisted in making this donation possible, and we are thrilled to have the honor and privilege of donating to such a wonderful local community service organization to help them continue their great work.
