Florence, AL – Hayden Strickland, Magnolia River’s Vice President of Systems Engineering and GIS, has been voted the University of North Alabama’s Geography Alumni Association Geographer of the Year. “This is a great honor for Hayden and for Magnolia River,” said Kimberly Hoff, President and CEO. “Hayden’s experience and expertise in the GIS industry, his ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems, and his enthusiastic team approach were recognized by these voters, just like they are recognized and appreciated by our company.”
The award was presented at the 9th Annual UNA Geography Alumni Association Conference. “This is humbling and truly means so much to me, especially since the nominations came from fellow alumni and other colleagues of mine,” said Strickland. “What I have been able to accomplish in the industry is based on the strong educational foundation I received from UNA’s Geography Department.”
