Tell us a little bit about yourself and/or your family

I am a native of Decatur, Alabama. Growing up, my family owned a restaurant called Minnie Lee’s Diner, which is still in Decatur today. I spent my free time working at our restaurant and playing basketball (thinking I was Michael Jordan). After high school, I started working in the construction industry as a pipe fitter helper and then as a pipe welder.

What do you enjoy most about working for Magnolia River?

I enjoy the trust that they have shown me since I began working here. When I started here I didn’t have experience in inspection work but they partnered me with the right people who taught me what I needed to know.

What kinds of things do you like to do for fun?

I love spending time with my two sons and I like spending time with my family whenever I travel back home. I also like exercising, mainly cardio. I love going to a park and just jogging and pushing myself until I can’t go anymore.

What’s one thing that people might be surprised to find out about you?

I am a sneaker head. I hate to admit it but I am. I love Michael Jordan’s - especially the exclusive ones.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I try to spend as much time as possible with my two sons. They don’t like exercising but they love video games and going swimming so I try to compromise with them so we both get what we want.

If you would have one super power what would it be?

To be able to touch people and spread love to everybody I meet. I would cure all the ailments that plague our society no matter what it may be. I would show everybody that if we all worked together and helped each other we could accomplish so much for the good of mankind. To me that is very powerful.

What brought you to Magnolia River?

Like I said, my family is in the restaurant business and Sidney Thomas came and ate at our restaurant. While he was enjoying his meal, he talked to me about Magnolia River and ultimately offered me a job.
