Mr. Arnold is Magnolia River’s Vice President of Business Development. He has 19 years of progressive experience in project management and business development for comprehensive IS/IT/GIS services. He is talented at bringing together technical and non-technical team members to achieve success on highly complex programs. Mr. Arnold was GIS Manager, Vice President of GIS Services, and Vice President of Business Development for 3001 International, Inc. prior to its merger with Northrop Grumman. In these roles he helped manage surveying, mapping, and GIS projects for USACE, the Navy (NAVFAC), USGS, and programs supported by NOAA. Many of these projects included teaming partners from local, state, and federal agencies. High-profile examples include work on the Florida Everglades restoration; the Louisiana Oil Spill Coordinator’s statewide orthophotography, LiDAR, and GIS system; the Mobile Bay Estuary and Baseline 2002 project; comprehensive River Book systems for the Mississippi and Atchafalaya Rivers; and several SDSFIE GIS projects.
Mr. Arnold is a compelling presenter and talented technical writer with proficiency for editing proposals and technical papers. He is a persistent leader with a positive attitude and proven record of rapidly advancing team success. His core leadership skills include team building, account management, business development, strategic planning, project management, and budgeting. Mr. Arnold graduated Magna Cum Laude from Louisiana State University with two bachelor degrees, one in Geography and one in Journalism. He also earned an MS degree in Geography from LSU. Mr. Arnold is a Registered Photogrammetric Surveyor in South Carolina, Oregon, and Virginia.
